Some may not know it so it may bear repeating.  Pentax and Zeiss jointly
developed multicoating.  Pentax calls theirs SMC and Zeiss calls theirs T*.
Now, their versions may have diverged a bit since then, but they are both
still magnificent. Both companies make "killer" lenses.  Zeiss lenses can be
very pricey, but so is the very premium glass of Pentax.
