Are not almost all modern lenses (i.e. ones that can be purchased brand new)
multi-coated? Is there a discernible difference between a coating used on a
Pentax lens vs. Nikon vs. Canon vs. Minolta? Since third party lens mfrs.
like Tamron make lenses for the big names, is SMC a big deal anymore when
buying a new lens?
