I don't have any specific recommendations. There are a number of 24mm or wider third party lenses with excellent
reputations. Tamron, Tokina, Vivitar, Kiron have very well thought of designs. You can read more about them here.

Peter, what are the 24mm lenses you would recommend to Evan? I am also interested to know about third party 24mm lenses: sharpness at full and smaller apertures, flare resistance... prices on eBay... I am sure Tamron is part of the game.
