It wasn't mentioned however what types of them? Every lens since first K series, since "A" series (fully compatible with *istD) or only AF (F & FA) series?
REPLY: Due to the incredibly wonky archieve I don't know whether this issue has been solved or not. I do not know what web page it is referred to but the numbers doesn't add up anyway. These number cannot refer to K/M lenses as 9,4 million of those were manufactured. 3,8 million A lenses has been made. F lenses has been manufactured in 1,4 million samples. My numbers are late (mid?) 90's number and to that date (date unclear to me - just that they were a few years old in 2000) 2 million FA lenses had been made. Far more must have been made by now. However you do the math, they don't match the numbers from the article unless it refer to AF lenses and that Pentax have made about 3 million FA lenses the last 5-7(?) years. If so, the total number of Pentax K mount lenses to date are about 20 000 000. If you add screw mount and medium format lenses and even 110 rhe total numbers exceed 30 000 000. Pl
