It seems too bold. So do you think DSLR's have opened
a new playing field? Pentax must have a superior
product in order to draw potential buyers from Nikon
or Canon. It could be done if Pentax have a good plan.
However, given that the *ist-D is more $$ than the
Canon 10D ($1700 vs $1500), Pentax are getting off on
the wrong foot. Plus Pentax really need to upgrade
their lens line ASAP (with IS & USM). Right now the
*ist-D is a D100/10D clone. It's just smaller that's
all. Big deal.

The better have some great things under their sleeves.

Oh, and this "flagship" has been mentioned for how
many years? I'll believe it when I see it.
