ME Super and a 35mm is a great street camera, Boris. I used to use an MX with the 35/2.0 in a previous incarnation. Until a couple of weeks past I had been using my Canonet EE1.7 GIII RF, basically the same setup as Franks Leica but no interchangeable lenses. The past couple of weeks, I have been carrying an MX with a 100/2.8 hanging on my shoulder, and the 24/2.0 + incident meter in a small fanny pack as my walk-around outfit. It has been a long while since I routinely carried a camera almost everywhere I went, and I am now trying to get back into the habit.
For those interested, my photography-intended-but-not-the-primary-purpose kit is the MX with winder and 50/1.7, 24/2.0, 100/2.8, and a Vivitar 2800 flash in a small Pentax gadget bag. Full kit is the above plus the 80-200 zoom, 2x converter and, presently, an ME Super in the Tamarak bag plus the tripod waiting in the truck. Thanks to Stan on the list I now have the M100/2.8 a lens I have always wanted. On the other hand, my Sekonic 308 has a problem after 10 years of use. I will have to save up enough to have it repaired, but that will have to wait until after the end of the year. Strangely, it has the same symptoms as the Pentax istD prototype did. It shows a full battery but only works for a few minutes before it shuts itself off like the battery was dead. I wonder if it caught something from that istD?
