The M100/2.8 is nice. Focuses to 1 meter the same as the 85/2.0 but being
slightly longer give a nice headshot at that distance. In the old days I had
the 85 and the 135 and could not justify a 100 in addition. The thing about
a 100mm on 135 film is it gives about the same view as I see when I am
concentrating on something, so it matches my vision well. I still have to
throw it against a brick wall (test it by shooting a brick wall straight on
and diagonally which will show sharpness, distortion, and focus accuracy),
but casual shots so far look good.
