The "more focus points" is, IMO not a valid reason to switch. I prefer to determine what I want to focus on rather than letting the camera decide for me, and for fast changing situations, the *ist D does have predictive AF. > Do you use K or M lenses with your *ist D? > How does it feel, having to push the green button frequently?
