Here, the amount of money you spend doesn't make much difference in the
results you get, either. The last semi-pro place I went to would cut my
negatives through the images instead of the through the unexposed area
between the images. The prints were very good, however, until I got them to
not miscut the negatives whereupon the prints went to hell. I've heard
that some of the professional photographers in town send their film out of
state, but I don't know which lab they use (and I suspect it's out of my
price range except for special projects).
Oh well, there are worse problems to have.
