The Agfa D-Labs are the same. It is recommended that you submit sRGB
as that is how the D-Lab will interpret it. The first time I sent
some through that were AdobeRGB they came out very flat and dead
looking - like much of the color and punch was sucked out of them. At
this point, I just shoot in sRGB and everything works fine.

My experience with the D-Lab was completely different, but still bad.

In my case, Adobe RGB files came out with more saturated colours, to the point of gamut clipping which resulted in cyan-green skies and lost detail in areas where the colour is very strong to start with. There were also some minor colour shifts - deep blues turned slightly magenta, for example.

I also found that I lost a lot of shadow detail.

If you take a look at www.drycreekphoto.com you might find profiles for your lab if you're lucky, so you can soft-proof your images before sending them out for printing.
