Paul, the Pentax range is comprised of one camera de istD. Nikon and
Canon have several models, including full-frame sensors. When buying a
camera it is nice to know that it is part of a range of cameras, and
that you can progress to a beter model further down the road. With
pentax you have the istD and that is it. They are a bit light on the
ground.

It's the same chip as the Nikon 6.1 megapixel camera. Yet it's smaller
and feels more solid. In what way is it a bit light on the ground?
