I think you must have been using your winders wrong. When you're peering through the viewfinder you should press the release when you think the scene is right. Having a winder or motor on makes no difference to the timing at that critical (dare I say 'decisive'?) moment. The purpose of the winder is to get you ready for the next shot more quickly, and to make it easier for you to keep your eye up to the viewfinder. It doesn't take away your responsibility for timing the release of the shutter. Treating it like a Kalashnikov is entirely the wrong approach. -- Cheers, Bob
