I recently bought a secondhand Pentax 645 (I'd always wanted one and now they're affordable on eBay!) to use alongside the *istD and MZ-S and found the same. Great fun!

Seems to me since I have been shooting digital I have put less thought in the photographic process. I keep shooting until I get the image I want. Recently returned to my Mz-S and was forced to think. What a wonderful feeling.
