Hi Frank ....

As you may have gathered from several of my recent posts, the idea of a
DSLR is appealing to me as well, and the Pentax is a nice choice if for no
other reason than the size is about perfect and we do have a plethora of
lenses that will work with it.  My biggest concern is that it doesn't have
enough range to do high quality B&W work

BTW, Mike Johnson has made some similar comments in his most recent Sunday
Morning kvetch ... 

BTW, the tape job on Juan's istD looks great!  The trick is to get the
right kind of tape .... not just any black tape will do, y'know.
