I must admit that when I use to use Olympus OM-1 and Pentax MX
cameras, I always replaced the screen in them for a plain matte one.
I find the focusing aids get in the way for me. That is probably one
reason I like the *istD for focusing and you don't. I find the matte
in it to be quite reasonable to focus with.
Focussing aids? Oh yes, I remember those. I think my ME Supers have them. Horrid little devices. Whats wrong with just focussing until the subject is in sharp focus?
