It _is_ confusing! For me, the woman's dress, and the child's dress are too modern to be 20s. Yet, it looks too old to be 40s... and too fine for 30s... But if I had to guess, I would also say late 30s, maybe early 40s. Before the war, for sure. It sounds strange, but they almost look familiar to me... Are they well-known? any idea who they are?
