That's what happened when I bought my K15/3.5 off eBay. The seller had 100% +ve
feedback and the lens was in horrible shape. The repair job was lousy. The inner
elements were dirty. And I had to relube everything. Luckily I have the tools 
and
parts to bring it back to like new condition (the reason I did not ask for 
refund,
but I certainly would not pay that much for it if I had known upfront). The 
seller
did not leave feedback until 2 months later. I think the eBay feedback system 
sucks.
It is just a false protection.
