Thankyou for all the advice on the 50/1.7
I not very confident pulling it apart, but what the heck, there's bound to be
someone out there who can pick up the pieces.
I'm also a little disappointed that the three pentax lens' I own, all A series
28/2.8, 70-210/4, 50/1.7 have been mentioned with similar "plasticky" problems.
n.b. All lens were purchased at the same time in the early eighties
