Too true, the other day I found that my two M bodies have shutter timing 
problems after sitting idle for 18 months or so, otherwise they are fine but 
they'll still need a CLA before I can think of pressing them into service 
again. From an image making perspective a lot of the top end Pentax lenses hold 
their own quite well up to a practical point. Beyond that maybe the Leica 
lenses offer better micro-contrast etc. I've still got my Summicron ASPH 35 and 
compared to my Pentax 31LTD the differences aren't worth mentioning in 
practical terms, though it would be nice if the Pentax lens had the Leicas 
physical dimensions :-)
