Too true, the other day I found that my two M bodies have shutter timing problems after sitting idle for 18 months or so, otherwise they are fine but they'll still need a CLA before I can think of pressing them into service again. From an image making perspective a lot of the top end Pentax lenses hold their own quite well up to a practical point. Beyond that maybe the Leica lenses offer better micro-contrast etc. I've still got my Summicron ASPH 35 and compared to my Pentax 31LTD the differences aren't worth mentioning in practical terms, though it would be nice if the Pentax lens had the Leicas physical dimensions :-) Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://members.ozemail.com.au/~distudio/publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998
