It is a rare thing for a public prosecutor to apologise publicly. I like to think that the officious officer was given a severe dressing down for wasting public money.

Yep. After publishing this poor guy's picture all over a story about
sexual deviant behavior, the authorities are now sorry. This won't be the
last time we hear stories like this. Anyone with a camera in hand is
potentially a pervert and must be stopped. Street photography will soon be
more likely to land you in the slammer than driving while intoxicated.
