Unless Pentax is totally daft, they won't abandon all the lenses they just introduced. The DA lenses provide quite a bit more coverage than is necessary for the sensor. Most of them work fairly well on full frame. I'm sure the image circle will be adequate for IS. In fact they probably have more overlap on a APS-C sensor than does an FA lens on a full frame sensor.

Because the sensor is moving. It could then move outside the coverage of the lens if the lens coverage is not larger than the sensor.
