That reminds me of my first studio "strobes", but yours is better.
Mine was a big old Braun Hobby with 2 heads and about 20 feet of wire.
Mine used a wet cell, which was it's undoing. It got tipped one day and I
didn't notice for quite some time. By the time I discovered it lying on it's
side, the battery acid had eaten most of the guts.
