Hi all,

As I mentioned previously I recently managed to buy a Z-1p for (relatively) small change. The camera has obviously seen more use than my Z-1, but I like the improvements/changes enough to consider keeping te Z-1p, and selling the Z-1.

One thing bothers me, though. When using flash in (Hy)P or Av with an F or later lens, my Z-1 and MZ-50 generally observe the 1/fl rule. The Z-1p seems more than a stop more optimistic about what's hand-holdable. Now I _am_ getting better at hand-holding, but not in the situations I tend to use P-mode... Furthermore, the internal flash symbol starts blinking rapidly at focal lenghts under 35mm. I thought the Z1-p's flash covered 28mm?

Going on the above, I suspected a problem in the data-transmission between lens and body, but cleaning the mount didn't help. Even stranger, a Metz flash reports the correct fl on its' display...

I tested with four different zooms: one F, two FA's, and a FA-J. All gave the same symptoms.

Any suggestions what might cause this, and how to resolve the problem?

Thanks is advance,

Regards, Lucas
