Currently they do, but in the future? Plus word gets around that you 'can't get pentax gear', which promotes switching to other brands, which costs market share. Also if you don't have decent market share, retailers won't carry your gear, so sales will eventually go down.
Adam, its a Pentax USA problem. It's not like as if the entire world is affected.
