Frances, Thanks for the look at some fine work! It shows incredible patience and a good eye. IMHO, (left to right) #1 and #14 (first owl) are my choices from the group. I've often been surprised by what is chosen by contest judges. If you were to submit these to ten different judges you might have ten different "winners". Still, you have to pick your favorites.
