No, I'm saying that, because Pentax lenses aren't as in such high demand as 
Canon lenses, camera retailers don't have to cut their profit margin so much 
to be able to compete with other sellers.

It's not supply and demand here, it's a price war.  Whoever cuts their 
profit margin the most sells the most lenses.

Unfortunately for us Pentax users, there isn't enough demand on their lenses 
to warrant such a price war.

This is how I see it, anyway.
