Hi,

I'd like to eschew DA lenses whenever possible just to have the option of
using the new lenses (FA) on film bodies. However, I wouldn't rule out DA
lenses completely, as that seems foolish in some situations, such as using
the new wide angle lenses like the 14/2.8 or the new zooms. Having a mix
of lenses that can be used equally well with film and the DSLR seems to
make the most sense for me - at least at this time. I don't see Boris' use
of the term "limited image circle" as any sort of deprecation ...
especially considering the language differences. To someone who wants a
lens that will work on film as well as the DSLR, the DA lenses do, imo,
offer a limited image circle.
