That would make sense - they certainly have the production facilities. I believe the original underpinnings were from a Lotus, so it makes sense for Lotus to be involved (although when I saw the car the makers were stressing the point that the drivetrain could be designed into other chassis - they just picked a Lotus for the development model). I'm not sure how much of the car is being supplied from San Carlos, and how much from Hethel - there's also some manufacturing in Taiwan.
