GM claims they will have a zero emissions car on the road by 2010. In a
conversation with another list member awhile ago, I commented that while
the vehicle produced no emissions that did not say anything about the
infrastructure that provided the power. Probably coal fired electric
plants. And that says everything about what I think of all you pseudo
environmentalists. You ain't go a clue about the total systems impact.

I remember animal rights activists wearing leather coats, 2-1/2 ton 8
liter cars with anti-nuke stickers, laws requiring holding tanks on
boats while cities dumped raw sewage in the same waters, farmers
spending big bucks on expensive smudge pots and turning the tires they
had been burning over to the state that disposed of them by burning,
recycling paper that caused ten times the environmental damage that new
paper did. To me environmentalist and hypocrite seem to be synonyms.

By the way you can recycle your old jazz LP's by sending them to me. I
am also looking for a turntable that will go well with my 1979 (silver)
HH Scott receiver.

And, when you are drinking your beer out of a glass you do not know
exactly how much you have consumed. I am sure I am going to regret this
in the morning...
