I don't deny the K10D cameras are selling well and the trend seems to
be world wide given anecdotal accounts however what this current spurt
of activity will mean to Pentax long term is very difficult to predict
given their recent news. As I said time will tell, Pentax is still a
couple of magnitudes smaller as a company than Canon, this will change
after the merger however they will still be relatively small and
potentially vulnerable.
