I spent 11 days in Denali N. P., Alaska with my *ist D in August/September04, using Nimh AA batteries. During the days the temperatures ranged from the low 20's to the mid 50's, we had snow/rain several days. I never experienced any issues with my camera & I didn't do anything different with the camera than I would normally do. That is I kept it in my pack when I wasn't using it, kept it as dry as I could (covered it with an athletic towel when using it in the rain/snow & toweled it off when returning to the pack) when it was raining/snowing & kept a spare set of batteries with me. IIRC, during one sequence of shooting I got around 900 images before I needed to change batteries
Nothing different than using my other Pentax bodies. Kenneth Waller ----- Original Message ----- From: "P. J.
