I see... Indeed it escaped my mind (or actually memory) that you had
31 Limited. In fact, it is fast (f 1.8) and I find it just right for
K10D (without a grip). Though I agree with you about the hood and
hence rather strange lens cap. I did not have a chance to use FA 35/2
AL though. Although I admit that having 43 Lim, the idea of 35 mm
seems just a bit redundant - the difference in FOV is there, but it is
not that big.

My (black) 31 Limited never flared yet. I shall be more aware that it
may flare, 'cause you say you had experienced it.
