Yes, I agree.
This was one of my first try-outs with this, still trying to find a good
combination of focal-length, shutter-speed and aperture that will
give me the best results.

I think I will leave out the 1.4L converter next time, will give me
a bit more DOF as well as a fatsre speed. Just need to crop
a little more :-)

Agreed. I also think the bird should be a bit larger in the frame.
But I liked it anyway :-)
