Hi,

I just remembered the following. During Erwitt's slide show he made
witty remarks about a number of the photos. When he arrived at the one
of the boy holding a (toy) revolver to his head and grinning, EE said
it was one of his all-time favourites, because while on one level it's
amusing, on another it's terribly sad and says various things about
the human condition. It communicates on several levels, and this is
something that I like in a photo too.
