Thanks Dave. I had the K at one time as well. It was quite good but wouldn't 
focus close enough to shoot birds. When the D came out, I figured I should sell 
it and buy an A. That gave me both much closer focus and full auto metering. I 
think I sold the K for $300 and bought the A for $400. Not a bad exchange.
