Thanks to all who replied to my question. Now I have to decide what to do (e.g. whether to buy a new laptop or not, since I use it very occasionally). I'm planning a weekend flight to the Emirates early January, then another weekend in Rome next March and then a week in Cologne for Photokina in September 2008. That's probably all I need for 2008, hence I was asking myself if I truly need internet connection when I'm away from home and asking you how to do that.
