I've never had my K10D set to AUTO AF. I have it on
SEL and use the center sensor. Every once in a while,
in more casual shooting, I'll move it around and pick
a focus point. Mostly I use the center to lock the
focus and hold the shutter button down halfway then
recompose and fire.
