What printer? are you printing with a profiled workflow with
manufacturer inks?

The printer driver's dialog box for the Epson R2400 (on Mac OS X
Leopard) is organized in a different manner. It's quite possible to
miss a setting that you're used to on Mac OS X Tiger.

The right way to test the printing is to not consider the RAW
conversion as part of the process.

- Export a high resolution TIFF file with sRGB profile from Lightroom
or create an sRGB TIFF file with Photoshop Elements to be used as a
reference standard.

- Create a new Lightroom catalog and import that TIFF file. Test
printing.

- Open that TIFF file with Photshop Elements and test printing.

If you print with the same driver and the same workflow this way, the
print should be the same if all is working correctly. If there is any
difference, look for differences in how you establish the print
settings.
