On 12/4/08, Juan Buhler, discombobulated, unleashed: >Some of you might remember a thread from about year ago, where I was >seriously thinking about getting a Leica M8. > >I didn't. I would love one, but actually will stick with the R-D1 as the best feature by far is folding away the rear LCD and ignoring it. I thought about selling the 1DmII and getting an M8 but it is such a reliable camera (even at 4 years old) and works really well with the A*85 and the K15, as well as the EF24-70 and EF70-200. I like rangefinder photography very very much. If I jump at all, it will be for a 1DsmIII full-frame, maybe in a year or two. Good luck with the M8 - I think you'll undergo a little bit of a renaissance with that ;-) -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
