On 13/4/08, Bob Sullivan, discombobulated, unleashed: >Jumping ship from that big Canon ocean liner you've been riding & that >you've butchered some of our beloved Pentax lenses for! >I see elsewhere that Samsung is thinking about putting your hat in >danger...tasty, tasty!
No intention of jumping ship. Here's what I originally wrote: ------------------------------------- I would love one, but actually will stick with the R-D1 as the best feature by far is folding away the rear LCD and ignoring it. I thought about selling the 1DmII and getting an M8 but it is such a reliable camera (even at 4 years old) and works really well with the A*85 and the K15, as well as the EF24-70 and EF70-200. I like rangefinder photography very very much. If I jump at all, it will be for a 1DsmIII full-frame, maybe in a year or two. --------------------------------------- These are the facts: 1. I would like an M8 2. But will stick with the R-D1 [as far as rangefinder cameras goes] 3. Thought about selling the 1DmII and replace with an M8 4. But 1DmII is such a reliable camera 5. and works well with my Pentax and Canon lenses. 6. I like rangefinder cameras. 7. If I *do* sell the 1DmII, I would replace it with a 1DsmIII. I rest my case :) -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
