I'm sure you'll like the M8, Juan. Enjoy it! I'm sure it will do you  
well.

I've been tempted by both the M8 and the Epson RD-1 on several  
occasions. I like the shape, size and weight of these cameras. And I  
owned Leica Ms for years, alongside my Nikon SLRs. But I've always  
been more of an SLR user. My solution to this desire has been the  
Panasonic L1 fitted with a wide or normal prime lens. Lately I've also  
been using an Olympus E-1 body with the Leica 25mm f/1.4 (normal) ...  
It has an extremely quiet shutter and excellent viewfinder, but is  
somewhat bulky compared to the RF cameras.

Every so often I see the RD-1 for a reasonable price and I'm tempted  
as one of those with that fast 28mm lens would be just about right.  
And similarly the M8 body calls to me when I visit the camera store.  
Maybe some day.
