Yep. And it's added exactly zero functionality. Nikon has the most
capable lensmount, as the current revision of the F mount has all of
the capabilities of EF mount (As of the D3/D300 introduction which
added support for electronically activated apertures) as well as
nearly-full backwards compatibility. Note Canon lenses cannot be used
reversed with aperture control (Nikon F and Pentax K support this).
Advanced and capable aren't necessarily the same thing.
