It gets mounted as /Volumes/<volume > name> and shows up as an available drive in the Finder. I think it's neat that all you have to do is plug the thing in, and viola!! One of the things I've never figured out is why Windows doesn't do it automatically, or at least autolaunch the new drive wizard thingie. I mean, why else would you put a new drive into a computer?
