Hi! I think that PS is just a tool. As such it can be used with good and bad judgment, and that's all there is to it. And then of course, if one sets out on the quest of adventure in PS, one has to read the bloody manual ;-).
Having said that, I try to do most of the work by taking the shot. Although of course it is rather rarely that what I see on my screen in LR gets accepted as it has been shot, verbatim. HTH.
