Hi Ira: Congrats on your 1st print, and it looks great! You know, if you like the genre, there's a great book called Honor Dance by John Running. The photos are absolutely stunning; one of my favorites is Apache Hunter. Anyway, glad you were able to take a class. Cheers, Christine

Subject: PESO - First Print

I finally got around to taking a black and white film class this semester at the local community college. As it turns out, I was just in time. All of us in the class were surprised when they told us it would be the last film class. With two sections, both full and with waiting lists, it looked like it wasn't going anywhere soon.

It turns out that the Graphical Communications area, which is what photography falls under, is being remodeled. Initially, the plan was to outfit a new darkroom, but the head of the department decided he could use the space better for something else. Anyway, I'm glad I made it in.

Here is the first print I made. I took the picture at the Choctaw Labor Day Festival in Tuskahoma, OK.

Thanks for looking,

Ira
