ack - my memory ----
Of course I went to the Green Mill --- but my first response was about
anotehr jazz club on the south side...
At the moment I can't remember who I heard or how often I went there but
I was definitely
flying with a crown in my youth that did... makes me want to get out the
dairy I kept in
the 50's I went to a lot of places when I was 16 to 17 years old with
older friends - I
looked older and no one ever asked me for ID.
