More than once...!
Much of it takes place in the Union Square, Gramercy Park and Lady's
Mile neighborhoods, circa 1882. When I worked down there, I used to
go looking for landmarks he mentioned in the book.
I've done that too!...
The story is interesting, but the NYC historic detail is fascinating.

Yes, I love it... he has it just right.
I like Finney a lot - my kinda scifi.... I also like the one that is
similar in as much as the time traveler doesn't use
a gadget -- the one with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour that uses
the Grand Hotel on Mackanac Island -
another place I was fond of in my childhood...and visited a couple of
times as an adult -

Wow, that's a nice shot, Ann! Were you in one of the stores when you
took it? That Optio did very nicely.
Did you get to do any shopping at the holiday fair? I found quite a
few gifts there this year.
