another lens which produces almost pastel like colors comes into my mind
- it's Russian made Helios-44 which used to be a standard lens on Zenit
12XP cameras. It does have slightly unusual 58mm focal length and
doesn't cope very well with flare (though it's multicoated), but it's
available almost for free. The name suggests it could be a copy of Zeiss
Sonnar (both contains Sun in their names), but I really don't know.
Anyone knows more about it's optical formula?

P.S. my spell checker suggests 'Hellish' instead of 'Helios'. :-) This
might be true, it's really good lens (at least for special purposes).
