Well, seems almost certain a trip of yours trully around part of the US
between april and may '09. Here in Brasil I don't have much trouble with
hand inspection of my films - only lost six unexposed rolls so far, in a
single event.
But I wonder if this is still possible in the US - my latest experience
there came fairly ok in may, '01. Still have a small film shield, but
lately I just carry my 6pack of Fuji as I walk under the metal detector
and ask it to be hand checked.
I can travel without film if needed, but would rather have some with me
all the time. Still remember the most suspicious way some security party
regarded my gossen lightmeter once...
