It sounds like you can still request a hand inspection, and in certain cases (ISO of 800 or higher, push processing, more than 5 screenings) they say you SHOULD request a hand inspection. Printing this web page and carrying it with you can't hurt (and I like the idea of throwing some T-Max P3200 in the bag, just in case).
